Kitchen Remodeling for North Providence Homes
North Providence is a compact suburban town bordering Providence, with dense residential neighborhoods and easy access to the capital.
North Providence has many 1940s–60s Capes, ranches and two-family homes, plus older mill-village houses in Lymansville and Greystone. Compact floor plans make smart kitchen layouts and bathroom space planning especially important.
Smaller lots and close neighbors require clean, contained job sites, and many older homes need updated electrical and plumbing during remodels.
Permits & Local Rules in North Providence
- Building permits in North Providence are issued by the town's building official under the Rhode Island State Building Code — we prepare the applications and schedule every inspection.
- Homes built before 1978 may contain lead paint, so renovation that disturbs painted surfaces follows Rhode Island and EPA lead-safe work practices.
