Kitchen Remodeling for West Greenwich Homes
West Greenwich is a rural Kent County town of forests, large residential lots and management areas.
West Greenwich consists mainly of 1970s–2000s Colonials, ranches and contemporaries on large wooded lots, plus older farmhouses. Kitchens, bathrooms and garage expansions are common projects.
Private wells and septic systems are standard, and large lots allow additions and garages with careful site planning.
Permits & Local Rules in West Greenwich
- Building permits in West Greenwich are issued by the town's building official under the Rhode Island State Building Code — we prepare the applications and schedule every inspection.
- Homes built before 1978 may contain lead paint, so renovation that disturbs painted surfaces follows Rhode Island and EPA lead-safe work practices.
